So say that a state law lets an insurance company charge up to $25 for the SR-22 certificate filing fee. Then one insurance company may charge $15 while another insurance company charges the $25 top limit amount.

To get back your driver’s license it will depend on what your infraction was and the state laws or regulations of the state in which your driver’s license was suspended. If instead your license was taken away because of DUI, state laws might require you to take an alcohol or drug class plus pay the fines and get an SR-22 or the financial responsibility certificate.
